Laser hair removal is a popular cosmetic procedure that uses concentrated light energy to reduce unwanted hair. The laser targets the pigment (melanin) in hair follicles, heating and damaging them to slow or stop future hair growth without harming the surrounding skin.
How it works
During treatment, a handheld device emits pulses of laser light that are absorbed by the hair. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions (usually 6–8 treatments spaced a few weeks apart) are needed to effectively target follicles in their active growth phase.

Results and recovery
You may notice hair shedding within 1–3 weeks after each session. Over time, regrowth becomes finer and lighter. There’s little downtime—some redness or mild irritation may occur for a few hours to a couple of days.
