
Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist
Meena A. Demetrios, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at River & Coast Women’s Care, serving patients in Jacksonville and Saint Johns, Florida. He takes the time to listen and understand each patient’s preferences and concerns, providing compassionate, personalized care for women at every stage of life.
Dr. Demetrios provides comprehensive prenatal care and supports patients throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. He also specializes in a wide range of women’s health services, including gynecologic care, female reproductive health conditions, menopause management, emotional wellness, and breast health.

Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist
Gabrielle Garbade, MD, FACOG is an obstetrician and gynecologist at River and Coast. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Dr. Garbade is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Garbade has special interests in menopausal care, robotic gynecologic surgery, and high-risk obstetrics. She is passionate about caring for women through all stages of life and values the opportunity to care for multiple generations within the same family. Dr. Garbade practices evidence-based medicine and is enthusiastic about incorporating new treatments that help women live healthier, happier lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Garbade enjoys traveling and exploring new places with her family.

Physician Assistant
Sarah is a dedicated Women’s Health professional with a passion for providing compassionate, specialized care to a diverse patient population. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, she relocated to Florida to pursue her education and career in healthcare. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in 2015 and went on to complete her master’s degree at Nova Southeastern University in 2020.
Outside of her professional work, Sarah enjoys reading, staying active through fitness, and spending quality time with her husband and their chihuahuas.
Since graduating, Sarah has focused her career on Women’s Health, where she is committed to supporting patients through every stage of life with personalized and evidence-based care.

Physician Assistant
Rina Vasilarakis, MMS, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant specializing in obstetrics and gynecology who is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She focuses on prenatal and postpartum care, contraception and family planning, and supporting gynecologic wellness for patients across every stage of life. Rina believes in combining evidence-based medicine with clear communication to help patients feel informed, confident, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.
Rina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Indiana University and went on to complete her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).
As a new graduate entering practice in 2025, Rina is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and creating a welcoming environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and supported. She prioritizes listening and understanding each patient’s unique needs in order to provide personalized, thoughtful care.
Originally from Valparaiso, Indiana, Rina also has family roots in Karpathos, Greece. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, and relaxing with her mini goldendoodle, Leo.

Lauren Johnson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She received her undergraduate and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida in 2009 and has since provided comprehensive women's care spanning from adolescence through menopause.
Her clinical focus includes gynecological disease management, family planning, obstetrical care, postpartum care and hormone therapy. She is committed to fostering strong patient-provider relationships and ensuring patients feel empowered and informed about their reproductive health decisions.
Lauren has also volunteered internationally in Gambia, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo providing prenatal, labor and postpartum care while helping train local healthcare teams in the management of obstetrical emergencies.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her active-duty husband and 3 children, reading, playing tennis and enjoying the outdoors.

Samantha Allman, CNM, is a nationally certified Nurse Midwife dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan—from adolescence through menopause. She specializes in pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment for every patient.
Samantha is committed to empowering individuals through education, shared decision-making, and personalized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. Her approach integrates evidence-based practice with compassionate support to promote optimal health outcomes for both parent and baby.
She earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice in Midwifery from Columbia University School of Nursing, where she received advanced clinical training in full-scope midwifery care.

Emilee is a Certified Nurse Midwife who comes to River and Coast Women’s Care with 7 years of prior experience as a Registered Nurse. She earned her Masters degree from the University of Cincinnati and is certified by the AMCB.
Her journey to midwifery was inspired by her own pregnancy and postpartum experience. She is passionate about addressing gaps in maternity care and supporting women through every stage of life with evidence-based care, from adolescence to menopause. Her training spans both hospital and birth center settings. She has experience in physiologic birth, water birth, and in-hospital labor and delivery management. She believes midwifery allows her to empower patients with knowledge, support, and personalized care.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband, their 4-year-old son, and two dogs, and is excited to make Florida home
